Do you remember how great great grandfather did the family shopping? He would hook up his team of horses to the big wagon put in the family and trudge off across the prairie for a day or so to get to the nearest ?general store?. Once there it was a great outing for the family. The store had everything needed from children?s store bought candy to mother?s ready made dress. If the store did not have that certain special item there was always the option of the catalog.
After the turn of the century (1900 not 2000) a couple of remarkable changes occurred that begin to alter family shopping. America began to grow up and out ? at least to the oceans. And the automobile made its auspicious entrance. Now the family could get to the general store much faster. Mother loved that, she could make more trips is a shorter time.
There was, however, an embryo of change being observed in the stores themselves. The increase in populations made for more stores and a wider variety of markets. The general store began to break up. ?Specialty? stores began to emerge. Dress shops, drug stores, movie theaters etc. A whole group of cottage industries began to make an entrance. It is true the big boys were still ever present and getting bigger. Sears Roebuck and Co, J. C. Penny, and others were still on top, still selling through the ever present catalogs.
As our country grew through World War II it became more sophisticated. The little village grew into a city. This resulted in the concept of a ?town square?. The big stores were usually on opposite sides of the square with the little specialty shops filling in the gaps. Usually these types of cities were the county seat so you would have a court house and a government office building. There was something else of importance that came into prominence through this period. Access to information began to grow with the appearance of the County Library.
As we moved into the 1960s the automobile presented a nightmare problem to family shopping that was totally unexpected. Traffic and Parking began to choke the city square concept. It is certain everyone still wanted to shop, but usually at the same time. It was near impossible to find a parking meter on the down town streets in the town square.
American ingenuity, as usual, prevailed. We made parking the priority item and called it all a ?suburban shopping mall?. Now there were acres of free parking with the shops in the middle. The next major evolution was to air condition the whole shopping mall. What?s not to like? The big guys where still at opposite ends of the shopping mall. Now there was unlimited space for expansion of the specialty shops. Even better, it was all accessible on foot. Only thing left was the food court. Now family shopping had moved to heaven.
We refined and sharpen this concept to an art form over the next few decades. Some where during that period of time the government slipped in a not understood or utilized system which took the handle of the ?internet?. So what? Nothing happened for a long time. Then the next stunning invention occurred. The mouse (computer) began to wiggle around. Do you not understand that without the mouse the computer is a black box? Put them together and we have the Personal Computer.
Somewhere in the eternal scheme of things the infinite minds of the computer geeks and nerds began to squeak and rumble. A marriage of the internet and personal computer took place. While that is a worthwhile discourse in its own right far too large for our purposes we would be remiss to pass it by without comment. It was only a few years back, in the mid 1990s that this even occurred. This is important to understand to be able to focus of the rapidity of current events, speaking of the internet online shopping. It was about 1994/95 time period that a company called Netscape came along with their commercial internet browser. It started an absolute revolution. It is not until about 1996 that Microsoft finally figured it out and came roaring down the road with their internet explorer. The race was on.
The other side of the story was the functional software development on the internet. In the beginning the only thing we could figure out for the internet was file transfer (FTP). Then it dawned on someone that if we could read from the internet why not write to the internet. Incredible concept! Websites began popping up all over the place.
We began to see a true information highway. Any company could advertise it presence throughout the world with minimal effort. The internet browser now could interact with a company?s data base. Of course, it was just a heart beat away until the website could actually sell products. The impact of this was absolutely profound. Shopping was changing course. It was now being called internet online shopping. Family online shopping was born.
Internet online shopping is now moving so fast it is near impossible to keep up from day to day. However, what goes around comes around; we are right back to the 1950s, electronically speaking. The big boys still have their big websites. But now the little specialty ishops are filling in the blanks. They can compete directly with the big companies-almost. There are online shopping malls all over the internet. Home shopping online, even discount shopping online is growing non-linearly everyday
There are now, as there always are, another set of complications that have risen with need to be addressed. There are literally millions of websites on the internet to be found or in most cases NOT to be found. This has caused the mushrooming of another incredibly fast most moving cottage industry in the form of Internet Marketing. Search engines, Pay Per Click (PPC), Website Content etc. are all now very critical to a website.
When you search during an online shopping spree, for our purposes a shopping search, it is not uncommon to get back several thousand websites. In order to truly shop you must go through one website at a time until you can find that for which you are looking. This gives rise to the word surfing.
The solutions for these problems are emerging in the form of holistic online shopping mall websites that provide categories from discount shopping online to online clothes shopping to surf through. The website bears the burden and responsibility of filtering and selecting appropriate merchants based on the subject of the website.
The next cutting edge development emerging is the ?internet online shopping specialty ishops?. That is where a very narrow subject is the focus of a ?mini website?. For example, a ?Women?s Plus Size Clothing Specialty iShop? or a ?Family Scrapbooking Specialty iShop?. The list for online shopping specialty ishops will soon be endless. The important factor here is this type of website contains only merchants for that very specific specialty. That places all the major merchants plus many of the competitive smaller online shopping website within one click of the customer. It greatly curtails the endless surfing through each merchant website.
One last point, much like the shopping mall of old the specialty online shopping website will have the library, i.e., information highway, news links, ebooks, fresh content articles and what ever else is required to maintain a holistic family shopping environment at you finger tips.
Then the next step in family online shopping will be ?

This article provides some practical wisdom on how to make sure your pancake breakfast will go off successfully. Five tips are provided.
Tip 1: Delegate Both Cooking and Planning Responsibilities
Even if you could do it all yourself, you really don't want to! Most pancake breakfast events cater to medium to larger sized groups. Anything from ten to one hundred would be typical. This means that you will definitely need help in both the cooking process and the preparation for it.
Getting the right help from the right people means learning how to delegate. You want someone to handle the invitations, someone to book the venue (or at least be willing to host if it will be at someone's house), and several people to take responsibility for acquiring the ingredients and doing the cooking
Tip 2. Set The Guest List Well in Advance
The larger the size of your pancake breakfast event, the more crucial it will be to set the guest list well in advance. Most events have an attrition rate of somewhere between 10 and 30%. That means if you have 20 confirmed guests, expect that somewhere between 14 to 18 will actually show up.
Thus if you want 20 to show up, you'll probably need to have about 25 confirmed guests. Reaching your target on the number of confirmed guests means you'll need to invite more than that number. In many cases it will require far more than that number. 50% is a good approximate rule of thumb: so to get 25 to confirm will probably require inviting 50.
Tip 3:
Carefully Prepare the Agenda for What Happens after the Pancake Breakfast.
Most organizers who organize a pancake breakfast are not doing it for their love of pancakes. Most attendees who come to this sort of event are not doing it because of their love of pancakes either! The time-honored tradition is that this event serves some larger purpose.
In some cases it may be fund raising, in other cases volunteer generation or team building. Whatever the purpose, make sure that you carefully plan the block of time that will naturally arise as people wind down having their breakfast. Figure on a 10-30 minute window of time where you will have everyone's attention before folks start to trickle out.
If you have a fundraising pitch, you want it to be tightly focused and concise. If you are trying to recruit volunteers, have informational literature ready to distribute. Use that brief window of time for maximum advantage.
Tip 4: Secure the Ingredients the Night Before
In the area of event planning, it is good to remember that what can go wrong will in fact probably go wrong. Trying to buy the ingredients for morning before the breakfast is almost certainly a recipe for disaster! If you have successfully delegated (Tip 1), you'll have someone on hand to buy the ingredients the night before and to deliver those ingredients to the venue.
That way the morning of the event, the stress factor can drop appreciably. You should still plan on getting to that venue well in advance of when the guests are starting to arrive. There will always be at least one guest who will show up considerably early and so you would be well advised to be prepared.
Tip 5: Arrange a Conference Call with Your Team Members
A successful pancake breakfast operation requires teamwork. Particularly in the case of the larger event, you will almost definitely have a handful of people helping you pull everything together. It may be difficult to get everyone to meet in person and that is where teleconferencing comes in.
Holding a conference call with your pancake breakfast planning members is a great solution. These days there are a number of services that offer free conference calling and that means you can hold the phone conference for negligible expense.
When everyone calls in to the conference, use that opportunity to reiterate the roles and responsibilities that you have already delegated and to confirm the plan for the night before and morning of the event.
A well-planned pancake breakfast requires a lot of work. The suggestions outlined above in terms of delegation, advance planning and making intelligent use of collaboration tools like free conferencing can go a long way to ensuring a successful event.

WASHINGTON (AP) ? U.S. and Pakistani officials said Saturday that al-Qaida's second-in-command, Atiyah Abd al-Rahman, has been killed in Pakistan, delivering another big blow to a terrorist group that the U.S. believes to be on the verge of defeat.
Al-Rahman was killed Monday in the lawless Pakistani tribal region of Waziristan, according to a senior administration official who insisted on anonymity to discuss intelligence issues.
A Pakistani intelligence official said al-Rahman died in a U.S. missile strike in Machi Khel village in North Waziristan on Monday.
Since Navy SEALs stormed Osama bin Laden's compound and killed him in May, the Obama administration has been unusually frank in its assessment that al-Qaida is on the ropes, its leadership in disarray. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said last month that al-Qaida's defeat was within reach if the U.S. could mount a string of successful attacks.
"Now is the moment, following what happened with bin Laden, to put maximum pressure on them," Panetta said, "because I do believe that if we continue this effort we can really cripple al-Qaida as a major threat."
A Libyan national, al-Rahman never had the worldwide name recognition of bin Laden or bin Laden's successor, Ayman al-Zawahiri. But al-Rahman was regarded as an instrumental figure in the terrorist organization, trusted by bin Laden to oversee al-Qaida's daily operations.
When the SEALs raided bin Laden's compound, they found evidence of al-Rahman's deep involvement in running al-Qaida.
Senior al-Qaida figures have been killed before, only to be replaced. But the Obama administration's tenor reflects a cautious optimism that victory in the decade-long fight against al-Qaida could be at hand.
"It does hold the prospect of a strategic defeat, if you will, a strategic dismantling, of al-Qaida," incoming CIA Director David Petraeus said in July.
Since bin Laden's death, counterterrorism officials have hoped to capitalize on al-Qaida's unsettled leadership. The more uncertain the structure, the harder it is for al-Qaida to operate covertly and plan attacks.
Al-Zawahiri is running the group but is considered a divisive figure who lacks the founder's charisma and ability to galvanize al-Qaida's disparate franchises.
A U.S. official, who spoke on condition of anonymity to summarize the government's intelligence on al-Rahman, said al-Rahman's death will make it harder for Zawahiri to oversee what is considered an increasingly weakened organization.
"Zawahiri needed Atiyah's experience and connections to help manage al-Qaida," the official said.
The U.S. official would not say how al-Rahman was killed. The Pakistani official did not say how the country's main intelligence agency, the ISI, knew that al-Rahman was dead. This official did not give his name in keeping with agency rules.
Intelligence officials had said at the time that four people were killed in the attack.
A CIA drone strike was reported that day in Waziristan. Such strikes by unmanned aircraft are Washington's weapon of choice for killing terrorists in the mountainous, hard-to-reach area along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
Al-Rahman has been thought to be dead before. Last year, there were reports that al-Rahman was killed in a drone strike; neither U.S. officials nor al-Qaida ever confirmed them. The officials who confirmed the death Saturday said it represented the consensus opinion of the U.S. government.
Born in Libya, al-Rahman joined bin Laden as a teenager in Afghanistan to fight the Soviet Union.
He once served as bin Laden's personal emissary to Iran. Al-Rahman was allowed to move freely in and out of Iran as part of that arrangement and has been operating out of Waziristan for some time, officials have said.

Sorry for the delay folks, but Hurricaine Irene?reaked havoc on my internet connection. Thank you NFL network for rebroadcasting the games! Now that my DirecTV is back I can watch them. Week 3 of preseason is the last week of value to try to ascertain which players will have true value. Here are some of the players that have stood out to me thus far in preseason.
Nate Burleson ? He has been around for 9 years and typically disappoints unless Megatron is out of the lineup. However, this preseason he has been very impressive. Last night he had 46 yards and 2 catches plus a TD. He caught a TD in the last ?preseason game?as well. With Matt Stafford being on fire Burleson?s value increases. Stafford is 24 for 31 with 356 yards and 5 TDs in the preseason. The key component is?Stafford?s?accuracy. He hasn?t thrown a?pick and has been able to get rid of the ball under pressure. Stafford will face tons of pressure this year and that bodes well for Burleson. When he can?t hold the ball long enough to hit CJ on a deep route Burleson will be his check down receiver.
Antonio Brown ? He has?been on my radar for a couple weeks. I?referenced him as a sleeper back on August 16th.?I read somewhere that he might be the busiest number 3 receiver in all of the NFL. Well, if that statement pans out to be true then that places him in WR2 territory. He will be streaky but when he hits he will hit. Last night he was lights out ? 137 yards, 2 TDs, and 4 catches. As the season progresses I could see him stealing time from the HOF bound Hines Ward. This is an?eerily similar situation in GB where I can see Donald Driver giving way to Jordy Nelson. Speeds wins at the end of the day and both Brown and Nelson have it.
Sidney Rice ? I have been meaning to write about him for the past 3 weeks. The negative fantasy implications about him are overblown. Most sites have him ranked anywhere from 21 to 37 in WR ranking. Does his QB suck? Yuppers? Last night Tavaris Jackson looked helpless. He was sacked 5 times! TJax did go 13 for 22 and threw a TD to no-name TE Dominique Byrd.?I?m not saying Jackson will be a sleeper QB like my boys?at Razzball but he will be serviceable enough to make Rice an effective WR2 in fantasy play.?
Rice only had two catches in this game but he was targeted a team high 5 times. Rice and Jackson don?t need to build a rapport because they already have one. Here is the take home point? I would ALWAYS rather have the #1 WR on a bad team then a #2 WR on a good team. Mainly because bad teams are always playing from behind in the second half and the #1 WR gets the majority of the looks. Just ask Stevie Johnson of the Buffalo Bills about that! Bad teams have to air it out just to keep the game respectable.
Marcus Easley ? Walterfootball turned me on to this character. Never heard of him till this week. Donald Jones must not have played since he got his bell rung last week. Anyway, Easley lit it up with 51 yards, 5 TDs, and 5 catches. IF and the key here is IF he beats out Donald Jones he will have value. However, I?m not stashing him in any of my rosters. I keep thinking back to two years ago when I preached about how good David Clowney was going to be on the Jets. Obviously, that prediction was an epic fail. Somehow I think Easley may be Clowneyisk?.

New Jersey Man with Asbestos-Related Lung Cancer Awarded $ 10 Million
HAWTHORNE, N.J. (PRWEB) August 11, 2005
An eight-member Middlesex County jury awarded a Hawthorne man, suffering with asbestos-related lung cancer, $ 10 million on August 5. The verdict is among the highest ever for a New Jersey asbestos case.
William Rhodes, 68, and his wife, Doreen, were awarded $ 10 million as compensation for their pain and suffering caused by the cancer and as punitive damages against Universal Engineering of Montville. The company distributes heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning equipment and supplies, as well as building-automation equipment.
Universal Engineering was allocated 84% responsibility for the $ 10 million verdict. When the Rhodes? lawsuit was filed last year, several defendants were named but were either dismissed from the case by a judge or settled. Three companies, A.W. Chesterton Co., Air Products and Chemicals and the Burnham Corp. reached out-of-court settlements in the case prior to the trial.
The jury deliberated for approximately five hours before reaching its verdict after a two-week trial before Middlesex County Superior Court Judge Edward Ryan.
The Rhodes were represented by Arnold Lakind from the law firm Szaferman, Lakind, Blumstein, Blader and Lehmann of Lawrenceville, New Jersey, and Moshe Maimon of Levy, Phillips and Konigsberg, New York.
Rhodes was diagnosed with mesothelioma, an aggressive cancer of the lungs that is linked to asbestos exposure, two years ago. He retired in 2001 after a career spanning more than 40 years as a boiler repairman. As part of Rhodes? job, he used products containing asbestos to repair the boilers.
The jury found that Universal Engineering supplied most of the asbestos-containing products to the company in Bergen County where Rhodes worked for 30 years.
Asbestos use peaked in popularity around World War II, although it was first used in the United States in the late 1800s. During the 1960s and 1970s, health officials linked the inhalation of asbestos fibers to cancer and other disorders.
The Rhodes case was filed in Middlesex County because the county has been designated to handle special tort cases, including those from asbestos sufferers.
In May, 2005, a Senate committee approved long-stalled legislation to shield manufacturers and insurers from asbestos lawsuits. In exchange, people made ill by exposure to the substance once used in insulation and fireproofing material would have access to a $ 140 billion trust fund. Despite the Senate Judiciary Committee?s action, lawmakers from both parties have lined up to make changes to the bill or kill it entirely when it reaches the full Senate.
Szaferman Lakind is a full-service law firm providing representation to a wide array of clients in such areas as litigation, personal injury, commercial and tax law, employment law, family law, land use development and real estate law. Based in Lawrenceville, Szaferman Lakind is one of the Mercer County?s largest law firms and recently celebrated its 25th anniversary.
Levy Phillips & Konigsberg, LLP is a nationally recognized trial, litigation and appellate firm well known for its leading role in the field of mass tort and product liability litigation and in developing and handling personal injury and discrimination actions for thousands of individual workers and consumers. The firm has done pioneering work in identifying and developing personal injury and property damage cases relating to asbestos.

By : Ty Gillespiie ??These days, most everyone is familiar with an autoresponder, although many don't know why they are beneficial to businesses. If you aren't familiar with autoresponders, you would probably find yourself amazed with them. An autoresponder can help your business by automatically emailing your clients and customers with a preset message that will help to increase your sales.
An autoresponder can help your list of clients grow, even send each one of them their own personalized email message. If you choose, you can also follow up each individual email with repeated emails, varying the content whenever you wish. These programs will also allow you to keep track of conversations, and send out broadcast email messages whenever you have news or new products to offer your clients.
As research in the past has shown, personalized email from autoresponders is a great way to boost your business. First they came for smokers, then they came for drinkers, now they are coming for obese ? or more correctly ?the potentially obese?.The topic of the day ? when not discussing the likely whereabouts of a certain Libyan leader ? is the most recent ?expert? report telling us that unless we tax unhealthy foods, ?half the UK population ?will be obese by 2030?.
This? headline grabbing report appears in the Lancet?that is?running a four-part series looking at the??global obesity pandemic?? (yes that is right ? pandemic) and how it?believes it should be?tackled. The answer it comes up with is somewhat more complicated (and frightening) than the simple??fat tax? on unhealthy foods reported in the papers today. But surprise, surprise, ?the ?fat tax? is the main ?weapon? against the ?pandemic? that the ?experts??themselves have chosen to highlight ? so lets stick with that.
The first question I find myself asking, is what the hell ?is an unhealthy food? Surely the odd bag of chips, the occasional Big Mac or sneaky bar of Cadbury?s fruit and nut?is not intrinsically bad for you? I accept of course that consuming any of these items to excess is likely to lead to me adding on the pounds -?but even my 14 year old niece knows that.??It is an unhealthy diet that leads to obesity (combined with?lack of exercise in some cases) not? so-called ?unhealthy? food. ?
If we listen to the experts everything is unhealthy for us ? except possibly lettuce. If we start?down this route of taxing unhealthy food ? lets say anything with ?high? sugar content or ?high? fat content ? how long before the so-called experts decide that its not sugar or fat that?s the killer its carbs ? so let?s tax food with ?high carb content? ?..?then it will be ?high salt? foods ?.and so it will continue until everything is taxed?(except possibly lettuce).?We never get an apology from these experts about?their?nutrition advice?from the past that was just plaing?wrong and led us down this particular route? oh no not their fault guv. And now it isn?t our fault either apparently -this is no longer about individual repsonsibility ? ?it?s the Government?s?responsibility what we eat ? at least according to these ?experts? .?And if I had a tenner for every time the term ?pandemic? has been used in the past? years I?d be rich? and how many times have the pandemics actually materialised?
The next question I ask myself is .. why is the automatic solution to every health problem that the experts identify these days ?-either a ban or another tax? Why not tackle Fair Trade ? or EU protectionism ? keeping the cost of fruit and veg artificially high ? not the answer? Why?aren?t nutrition classes the answer? Why is not making people responsible for their own health care costs the answer ? Why does it always come down to a ban or a tax, the fault of slack Government or evil food manufacturers.??
And perhaps the most annoying aspect of this ? is the idea from the health experts that we should tax ?unhealthy food? now - to prevent the possibility of? mass obesity sometime in the future.?Whatever they say about the UK we just don?t have the same level of obesity as they do in the USA ? and having just returned from vacation there I can tell you its not just about WHAT they eat ? its HOW MUCH? they eat. Portion sizes in the USA are ENORMOUS.. Their appetisers were often twice what I would eat for a main course ? even child portions often saw me leaving food on the plate.
So before we get too carried away with trying to map USA trends onto UK figures to get a few shocking headlines ? and a knee jerk ?fat tax? solution?. let?s be more sensible about this. Let?s pursue the route of education and information. Let?s look at how trade barriers and shocking restrictive practices artificially inflate prices of raw foods. Let?s consider?how health and safety madness has caused many small retailers to go out of business.
And perhaps most importantly, let?s not allow scaremongering headlines from faceless ?health experts? make those struggling with weight problems feel as disgusting and self-hating as smokers have been made to feel about themselves.?Let?s not criminalise an even wider section of the population by forcing them into purchasing??illicit, unlicensed chocolate, soft drinks etc smuggled in overseas?containing god knows what because its half the price of over-taxed legitimate products? in the UK. Please let us learn?the lessons from what we did to the tobacco industry ? and beware of the unintended consequences of well-intentioned actions.

The California Supreme Court has deserted an interest of a box many workers? remuneration insurers and businesses were anticipating would be reversed.
Yesterday, a Supreme Court announced that it was not going to examination a preference of a Fifth District Court of Appeal in a box State Compensation Insurance Fund v. W.C.A.B. [Workers' Compensation Appeals Board], famous popularly as a Almaraz box after a applicant in a strange case, Mario Almaraz.
The rejecting means that one of a pillars of a reforms to a California workers? remuneration complement fashioned in 2004 has been knocked down, substantially definition there will be aloft costs and larger doubt for workers? remuneration insurers.
?It?s flattering undeniable that costs will continue to go adult in California,? pronounced Jerry Azevedo, of a Workers? Compensation Action Network, a organisation that represents a interests of employers.
?We have to demeanour to other ways to revive a predictability that a legislators [who enacted a 2004 reforms] were looking for,? he added.
The Almaraz box endangered a trucker driver, Mario Almaraz, who postulated a behind damage on a job. According to a 2004 reforms, physicians examining persons creation workers? remuneration claims were ostensible to follow a AMA Guides 5th book really particularly when assessing a harmed workers? grade of permanent disability. Almaraz?s medicine rated his incapacity during 12 percent, yet also remarkable that a 12 percent grade of spoil did not sufficient report a border and impact of a injury. His damage prevented him from enlarged sitting, so he could not do trucking during all.
He appealed to a Workers? Compensation Appeals Board. His attorneys argued that a medicine had to have embodiment from a schedules in a AMA Guides when a Guides did not sufficient constraint a injury. The Appeals Board agreed, yet it pronounced that when a medicine decides to plead a report he still has to sojourn inside a Guides in anticipating his motive for a incapacity rating he gives.
That is a preference a Fifth District Court of Appeals affirmed.
Azevedo pronounced that pardon physicians to use their option this approach undermines what a reformers were perplexing to grasp in 2004 ? commanding a despotic report to safeguard that remuneration awards were customary and predicted ? and opens a doorway to some-more cases going to court, and maybe some aloft claims awards.
The Supreme Court rejecting of a Almaraz box comes on a heels of final decisions in dual other cases that also concede for larger medicine option in assessing spoil ? also, perhaps, earnest some-more disputes and some-more variability. One of those cases is popularly famous as a Guzman case. It was interconnected with a Almaraz box by a Workers? Compensation Appeals Board, as it addressed a same issue. The other box is famous popularly as a Ogilvie case. That box further endangered either one could plea a schedule. The preference in a box pronounced that one could.
?The Supreme Court?s rejection of examination is unsatisfactory yet it is not totally astonishing in light of a High Court?s prior rejection of examination of a Sixth district Court of Appeal?s preference in Guzman on a same issue,? pronounced Gina Simons, a orator for a State Compensation Insurance Fund.

In so far as the platform and tools for web development is fretful, there are abundant systems that are quickly unfilled on the market that are released. A very admired picking is the Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP (LAMP), which is regularly distributed for unbound. This certainty lonesome has evidently made the development of Web locations so admired to a lot of people all throughout the world.

Autism cant be confirmed or ruled-out by laboratory analysis. Its strictly a behavioral diagnosis.
Therefore, anything that causes physiological damage cannot directly cause autism.
Ergo& vaccines cannot cause autism.
Vaccines cause other stuff.
Vaccines cause encephalitis.
Vaccines cause seizures.
Vaccines cause immune system deficiencies.
Vaccines cause gastrointestinal problems.
Encephalitis causes mood swings.
Encephalitis causes extreme pain.
Encephalitis causes inattention and impulsivity.
Encephalitis causes aggression.
Encephalitis causes balance problems and difficulty relating to ones environment.
Seizures cause mood swings.
Seizures cause inattention and impulsivity.
Seizures cause alterations in conciousness.
Immune system deficiencies cause children to have more frequent bacterial infections, such as ear infections, upper respiratory infections (URIs), sinusutis, and strep infections.
Immune system deficiencies cause children to have more frequent viral infections, such as stomatitis, fevers of unknown origin, viral rashes, hives, conjunctivitis, and gastrointestinal viruses that cause vomiting and diarrhea.
Immune system deficiencies cause children to be more vulnerable to everything thats going around and to have a tougher time getting over things than their peers.
Gastrointestinal damage from vaccines causes diarrhea.
Gastrointestinal damage from vaccines causes nausea, reflux, vomiting, and the recently discovered disease now known as GERD (Gastro-Esophageal Reflux Disease).
Gatrointestinal damage from vaccines causes increased vulnerability to viruses and bacteria, which leads to increased administration of antibiotics, which leads to overgrowth of pathogenic yeast.
Pathogenic yeast overgrowth leads to intestinal hyperpermeability (leaky gut syndrome).
Pathogenic yeast overgrowth leads to constipation.
Pathogenic yeast overgrowth leads to food allergies.
Pathogenic yeast overgrowth leads to skin eruptions, drunken, silly behavior, inattention and impulsivity, and cravings for bread, sugar, ice cream, milk, and carbohydrates.
Technically, vaccines do not cause autism because techincally there is no such thing as autism.
Vaccines cause the underlying physical conditions that result in the pain, neurological damage, immune system disorders, gastrointestinal damage, and yeast overgrowth all of which combine to produce the behavioral symptoms that result in the autism diagnosis.
Gastrointestinal damage is the most obvious result of vaccine damage.
When a previously healthy child suddenly starts having multiple episodes of watery and extremely stinky diarrhea every day, and this happens shortly after receiving vaccinations, it is notable as a vaccine injury. What is not so obvious is that when the childs gut is permanently damaged, he or she is no longer able to absorb nutrients necessary to produce neurotransmitters necessary for proper brain function. So when the child develops mood swings, sleep difficulties, and learning disabilities several months later, these issues are not recognized as being related to the vaccine injury because the initial damage occurred many months earlier.
Please re-read the previous paragraph.
This is why Dr. Andrew Wakefield is such a threat to the pharmaceutical industry.
Dr. Wakefield NEVER said vaccines cause autism.
Dr. Wakefield is a gastroenterologist. He saw a number of children with gastrointestinal problems who also happened to be diagnosed with autism. Dr. Wakefield reported his observations. He never claimed that the MMR caused autism. He merely reported that a number of children he had seen had BOTH gastrointestinal problems AND autism, and according to parental report, these issues developed within a short time of when the children received the MMR vaccine.
Again& Why is Dr. Wakefield such a threat to the pharmaceutical industry?
Hint: Not because vaccines cause autism they dont.
Vaccines cause gastrointestinal damage.
Gastrointestinal damage causes malabsorption of nutrients necessary for proper brain function.
Malabsorption of essential nutrients causes immune system disorders, seizures, encephalopathy, etc& and THATs what leads to the ultimate diagnosis of autism.
If Dr. Wakefields observations are correct, SOMEONE, SOMEWHERE will eventually draw the connection between vaccines and the domino-effect that leads to the autism diagnosis. From the perspective of the pharmaceutical industry, better to nip it in the bud now, which means discrediting Dr. Wakefield to the extent that no one will look further into the science.
Has this ploy worked?
Not for me. And not for many of the very intelligent parents I know.
Only time will tell if there are enough of us to make a difference.

XParents need better information, ideally before a baby is born
By Matthew F. Daley and Jason M. Glanz ?| August 24, 2011?|
Image: Getty Images
Last year 10 children died in California in the worst whooping cough outbreak to sweep the state since 1947. In the first six months of 2011, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recorded 10 measles outbreaks?the largest of which (21 cases) occurred in a Minnesota county, where many children were unvaccinated because of parental concerns about the safety of the standard MMR vaccine against measles, mumps and rubella. At least seven infants in the county who were too young to receive the MMR vaccine were infected.
These troubling statistics show that the failure to vaccinate children endangers both the health of children themselves as well as others who would not be exposed to preventable illness if the community as a whole were better protected. Equally troubling, the number of deliberately unvaccinated children has grown large enough that it may be fueling more severe outbreaks. In a recent survey of more than 1,500 parents, one quarter held the mistaken belief that vaccines can cause autism in healthy children, and more than one in 10 had refused at least one recommended vaccine.
This sad state of affairs exists because parents have been persistently and insidiously misled by information in the press and on the Internet and because the health care system has not effectively communicated the counterarguments, which are powerful. Physicians and other health experts can no longer just assume that parents will readily agree to childhood inoculations and leave any discussion about the potential risks and benefits to the last minute. They need to be more proactive, provide better information and engage parents much earlier than is usually the case.
Peril of Business as Usual
Right now pediatricians typically bring up the need for vaccines during the well-baby checkup held about two months after birth. That visit has a jam-packed agenda. In the usual 20 minutes allotted for the appointment, the physician must learn the answers to many questions, of which the following are but a sample: How many times is the baby waking to feed at night? Is the child feeding well? Where do measurements of height, weight and head circumference fall on a standard growth chart? Do the parents know how and when to introduce solid food and how to safely lay the child down to sleep? Are various reflexes good? Can the sounds of a heart murmur be heard through the stethoscope? Are the hip joints fitting properly in their sockets, or are they dislocated?
Generally in the final seconds of the visit, assuming all has gone well to this point, the doctor mentions the required schedule for six recommended inoculations: the first DTaP shot (for diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis, also known as whooping cough), the polio shot, a second hepatitis B shot (the first having been given in the first few days after birth), the pneumococcal conjugate shot (for bacterial pneumonia and meningitis), the HiB shot (for another type of meningitis) and finally the rotavirus vaccine (to prevent a severe diarrheal infection). This is the point in the visit at which more and more pediatricians report a disheartening turn of events: although most parents agree to the inoculations without hesitation, a growing number say they would like to delay or even refuse some or all of the vaccinations for their infants.?
A proper conversation that respects the reluctant parents? concerns, answers their questions and reassures them that the inoculations are indeed necessary?that countless studies by hundreds of researchers over many decades have shown that vaccinations save millions of lives?will likely take at least another 20 minutes. Meanwhile, though, other families sit in the waiting room, itching for their own well-baby checkups to start.
This all too common scene should never happen. Having this discussion at the two-month well-baby visit is too late. By then, parents may have read about any issues on the Web or chatted with other moms and dads in the park. Discussion with medical professionals should begin long before, usually during, or even prior to, the pregnancy. The evidence summarized below should form the basis for these exchanges.
