IT for Business: Presentation Rules

Tim Longhurst wrote up the TED Commandments. I've re-worded them a bit so they're more readable...

  1. Don't fall-back or rely on a stock presentation.
  2. Show/Share something unique and wonderful with your audience.
  3. Show your curiosity and passion.
  4. Tell a story.
  5. Don't display your ego. Be vulnerable.
  6. Don't sell your product, company, or yourself.
  7. Incorporate humor. Laugh with your audience.
  8. Don't read your speech.

If you check the Deschutes library, you'll find a couple of books related to the presentation style of Steve Jobs. Until then, check out...
