William World News ? Perhaps John Wall played stickball or cricket ...

I think we have a new worst ceremonial first pitch in Washington Nationals history:

Maybe Washington Wizards star John Wall thought he was playing stickball or cricket when he bounced the pitch about 15 feet in front of the right batter?s box. That was a good snag by Drew Storen though.

Despite the errant pitch, I?m always happy to see another D.C. player come out to Nationals Park. If I were running the Nats, I?d make it point to have every big acquisition, whether through the draft or otherwise, from the Wizards, Capitals, Redskins, DC United, etc. be invited out for a first pitch. Maybe Wall can come another time and redeem himself.
